Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has announced the state’s COVID-19 economic reopening will enter stage three at the end of the week.
As of Friday, September 4 at 5 p.m., all businesses will be allowed to reopen.
Theaters including movie theaters can reopen at 50 percent capacity with no more than 100 people per auditorium.
Outdoor venues for live performances and motion pictures can open at 50 percent capacity with no more than 250 people.
Retail establishments and religious facilities can increase their capacity from 50 percent to 75 percent.
Governor Hogan announced that local jurisdictions still have the discretion to keep limitations in place based on community spread of the virus.
