Deadly Salisbury Stabbing: Suspect In Custody

Salisbury, Md. (DELMARVA NEWS NOW) — Maryland State Police have arrested 18-year-old Cobey Mishler of Salisbury on murder charges in connection with a Sunday evening stabbing that left one person dead.

The incident happened shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday evening in the 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive. The victim, identified as 18-year-old Seth Abbey of Salisbury was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect was at-large for nearly 24 hours following the stabbing, and was taken into custody on Monday afternoon at a residence in the 1000 block of Schumaker Woods Drive in Salisbury without incident. Mishler is charged with first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
