Maryland Child Care Providers Ordered Close by End of the Day

Maryland’s Superintendent of Schools Dr. Karen Salmon has ordered all child-care providers in the state close by the end of the day on Friday.

Dr. Salmon’s order allows those serving essential personnel to remain open.

During the state of emergency, child care programs have been established in the state to serve only designated essential personnel, working for essential businesses.
