As several events have been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ocean City Air Show will go ahead this weekend.
Friday will feature a rehearsal sequence followed by a robust schedule of flights from numerous military aircraft on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday will feature a Panchito B-25 Bomber flight, C-17 Globemaster III flyovers, an A-10 Warthog, an F-22 Raptor demo, an F-35 Lightning II demo, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and many more.
Sunday’s events get underway at noon, featuring an L-39 Cold War Era Jet demo, a C-5M Super Galaxy, an Air Force Heritage flight, among numerous other aircraft.
The OC Air Show typically takes place in June but was postponed due to the pandemic.
Officials have put in place virus prevention measures including no show center or premium viewing areas in efforts to prevent crowding. There will also be no public address system or parachute landing zone.
Face coverings are required on the Ocean City boardwalk and recommended on the beach.
