Salisbury Apartment Fire Displaces Several Residents

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire that displaced several residents at an apartment complex in Salisbury.

The blaze broke out around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the structure located in the 300 block of Glen Avenue in Salisbury.

The three story apartment building became engulfed in flames from a fire that started at a kitchen stove in a unit.

Officials say no injuries were reported and it took about 35 firefighters over an hour to get the fire under control.

Several occupants of multiple units were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The fire caused around $75,000 in damages.
